Solo Orgasms And The Bible
Note this article was written some time ago and then largely laid it aside, firstly because feeling a
little uncertain about the subject, secondly because of knowing this article could be abused, and thirdly because of knowing it
would be controversial among many. However God has confirmed my conclusions about Biblical sexuality subject with an abundance of miracles.
Solo Orgasms And The Bible -2004-
Article cP
In reading this article one should realize and remember that a very wrong attitude toward marriage and sex gripped the Christian religion in it's very early years. Although the Bible clearly teaches that sex is an honorable relation, and that husbands and wives are not to defraud each other of sexual fulfillment, this false anti sex attitude instead counted intimacy in marriage a shameful relation, and even restricted marital sex as being only proper for reproductive purposes (Heb 13:4, 1 Cor 7:3-5)! One should consider that if sex were only allowable as an honest endeavor to cause offspring and otherwise unallowable, then sex would scarcely be allowed even in marriage, and being within the marriage environment would only increase one's desire for what he cannot have, and Apostle Paul rather than saying it is "better to marry than to burn", should have said it is "better to stay away from the marriage environment than to burn" (1 Cor 7:9)!! How ridiculous and sad were the anti marriage and sex attitudes of these early Christian writers! In due time this anti marriage and sex attitude progressed to the place where it totally disallowed marriage among the church leaders as is seen in the Roman Catholic Church today. This anti sex attitude largely counted all sexual enjoyment as voluptuous. Apostle Paul fortold of this anti sex attitude and called it the doctrine of devils (1 Tim 4:1-3). Note, numerous erroneous anti marriage and sex articles of the early centuries are given in article cE. cP-1
This erroneous sex attitude created a very negative attitude towards sexual things which still is present among many in our day. Some parents being so opposed to sexual things taught their boys to not touch their sexual parts even in urinating saying a bad aim is better than starting bad habits. Some Christians in times past advocated that solo orgasms would cause blindness and some or many lived in fear of such. Some parents even sent their children to bed in special harnesses that would prevent access to their sexual parts. Even today such harnesses are available for purchase. cP-2
Although false religion has wrongly suppressed sex, God created sex in it's proper order to greatly bless man. In considering the sexual blessings that God has intended for man, how does God look upon solo orgasms? Solo orgasms are the act of one creating their own sexual orgasm while alone, whether they be married or unmarried. In considering this issue we obviously should and will look to the Scriptures and basic Scriptural principles for our answer. cP-3
In old times God clearly and often reproved the various sexual errors which man could become involved with such as, sex with another's rightful mate, sex with one of the same sex, sex with animals, and sex with the opposite sex before marriage (sex without appropriate commitment and authorization). Considering how clearly our God reproved these various sexual sins, it very much would appear that God in old times, would have clearly reproved any sexual error that man could readily participate in or fall into. It would even appear that the sexual error that is most available and man can most easily participate in would be reproved the most clearly. Yet for some reason God in old times said nothing about solo orgasms in themselves being an error, although it is the most readily available sexual behaviour that man might participate in. Note, obviously to participate in a solo orgasm while coveting another's wife and imagining sexual contact with her, or while imagining any evil conduct would be wrong. Yet solo orgasms can be accomplished without any such evil imaginations. cP-4
One might say that the Bible only speaks about the greater sexual errors and is totally quiet about solo orgasms simply because they are a lessor error. Yet in considering how available solo orgasms are, and that they normally are the first sexual thing that offers it's self to man as he matures, would not our God in old times even and also reproved this lessor error if it really was against His laws and a sinful act? Note, us parents naturally would warn our children about the errors that they can most easily fall into rather than not saying anything about those errors, while clearly warning them about errors that are less relevant. Would not our heavenly Father do the same? cP-5
Note, many Christians believe and agree that the Bible says nothing particular or distinct against solo orgasms. Yet some who believe the Bible is silent as such still teach against solo orgasms. Yet some Christians believe several Scriptures teach against solo orgasms. Several Scriptures which might be understood to disallow solo orgasms are considered in paragraphs cP 37-40 below. cP-6
The writer while very young was hanging in a tree and greatly exerting his muscles, when all of a sudden he got a very pleasing sensation in his sexual parts. The writer who then was very young and without thought of sexual things, yet after this would hang in a tree and greatly exert himself and try to get some of that pleasing sensation. The writers first experience with basically a full orgasm was when taking a bath one time, and having no sexual thoughts at all, when all at once his sexual parts began tingling like everything, and when then touched just a little, a drop of sperm ejaculated. cP-7
The writer when young was very sensitive to vibrations. A firm vibration on his sexual parts without any sexual thoughts and without an erection could cause an ejaculation. The writer later on in his youth being opposed to solo orgasms and in avoiding any sexual desires that might be caused by vibrations, would avoid all vibrations and often would stand up while driving the farm tractor to avoid vibrations that could arouse sexual sensations and possibly create a desire for a full orgasm. The writer was questioned why he stood up while driving the tractor. cP-8
One of the writers younger and unmarried friends complaining about his sexual difficulties, spoke of having dreams which almost bring an ejaculation and waking up just before it happens and (because of his religious training) not being allowed to do anything to finish it off. Is that God's laws or man's laws? cP-9
Would our good God whose truths make us free (John 8:32&36), whose laws are laws of liberty (Jam 1:25, 2:12), and whose commandments are not grievous (1 John 5:3), create man with a piece of candy always dangling in front of his mouth and where he must of necessity regularly see and touch it and then say you dare not participate? Would our good God create man with desires for sexual sensations, and which sometimes might become very strong, and with a significant fulfillment thereof always available at arms length, and then say you dare not participate even with discretion and simply in the way of relieving one's self? It is amazing that God even cared enough for animals and their appetite that He commanded that their mouths should not be muzzled as they treaded out the corn. (Deu 25:4). Psalms 145:16 further reads, "Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing." cP-10
The writer rarely goes to zoos, but the last time I was to the zoo I was watching a very small orangutan while with it's mother. Suddenly the very small orangutan (similar to a monkey) placed his loins up against his mother's and started playfully bumping his mother's loins with his loins while suddenly his little penis sprang out and it very much appeared penetrated his mother's vagina. My son and I both were shocked, as were others that were watching. I was studying sexual things at the time and this very much impressed me as I never heard of or seen the like before. Although obviously such sexual activity and release is not proper for the human family, yet the human family very much can find sexual release without such. cP-10.5
The writer has often felt sorry especially for boys as they often have such strong sexual desires, and which I felt must be always painfully denied. I would see little boys and almost pity them, as I thought of the sex battle they are born to inevitably encounter. Yet did God give boys their sexual nature and member as an enemy to fight or a friend to bless their lives as it is dealt with in a proper way? It is interesting how Apostle James speaks about the tongue being an unruly evil which cannot be tamed, while no Scripture speaks about man's sexual member in a negative manner as such. cP-11
1 Corinthians 12:22-25 even states that the uncomely and less honorable members of our bodies are more honorable and even indicates we should give more honor to our uncomely parts that their should be no schism or division in the body. This Scripture reads, "Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: {23} And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. {24} For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: {25} That there should be no schism [division] in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another." cP-12
Note how the above Scripture particularly speaks of giving more abundant honor and care to our uncomely members to prevent needless schism or division in our bodies. God wants our bodies to feel complete and satisfied rather than deprived and pained. Yet obviously God does not want us to turn to drunkenness and excess with regards to sexual release or any other thing. The writer during the time of writing this article received an email with 20 supposedly wise sayings. Among these supposedly wise sayings one read "A conscience is what hurts when all your other parts feel good." One should consider how opposite this quote is from the wondrous harmony which is to exist in the body as spoke of in the above Scripture. Yet this quote very much aligns with the erroneous anti sex beliefs of the early centuries. cP-13
Already in Apostle Paul's time, there was a very erroneous anti sex philosophy abounding in the Greek and Roman society. This erroneous anti sex emphasis was initiated by several famous philosophers such as Pythagoras, Plato, Seneca, and Musonius Rufus, who largely advocated that sex was something that was inferior, weakening, damaging, and strictly for reproduction. It is clear that various of the early Christian fathers who were erroneously anti sex, were aware of and influenced by these early heathen philosophers rather than by Godly Jewish tradition. Although these philosophers advocated that sex was, inferior, weakening and damaging, King David rather spoke of good sex strengthening man saying, "Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. {6} His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof." (Psa 19:5-6). Appropriate, pleasing and satisfying sex, like the sun is all compassing and has great warming powers as one faces the world, it warms one's whole life with a brighter outlook on life, and nothing is hid from the heat thereof! Note many Scriptures speak of sex as a good thing! cP-14
The Roman religion had numerous Vestal Virgins who were a very important issue in their heathen religion. This virgin emphasis was trying to appease God by a self chosen humility and deprivation of the flesh. Apostle Paul in Colossians chapter two emphatically reproved the erroneous traditions and rudiments of false religions, and very much might have been refuting such anti sex religious rudiments. Paul advocated that the Christian's life and salvation is complete in Christ and taught that Christ made the Christian free from traditional laws that were contrary to him. Paul at the end of the chapter then wrote; cP-15
(Col 2:20-23 KJV) "Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, {21} (Touch not; taste not; handle not; {22} Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? {23} Which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh." Note the word satisfying in the above verse comes from several Greek words beginning with the sound of "play", and which mean to fill and complete. The writer in studying Greek and encountering these words even before knowing this word was in this Scripture thought these words beginning with play could pertain to sexual satisfaction. cP-16
According to the original Greek it appears this Scripture could mean; "Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ, from the rudiments of the world, why do you still live in accordance to it's rules? {21} (Don't touch, don't taste, and don't handle or massage). {22} Which rules will all perish in the using or keeping of them, as they are simply the commandments and doctrines of men. {23} Which rules indeed have a pretense of wisdom through a self chosen Holiness and humility, and through neglecting the body and not honoring or satisfying the flesh" (Col 2:20-23). cP-17
William Tyndale's translation of this Scripture reads; "Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from ordinances of the world, why as though ye yet lived in the world, are ye led with traditions of them that say Touch not, taste not, handle not? which all perish with the using of them and are after the commandments of doctrines of men, which things have the similitude of wisdom in chosen holiness and humbleness, and in that they spare not the body, and do the flesh no worship unto his need.". (Col 2:20-23). How does this Scripture relate to solo orgasms? cP-18
The writer had a somewhat strange experience just before going to Israel. I only once had been apart from my wife in the first 19 years of our marriage and then only for a few days, and a trip like this was new to me. I was quite apprehensive of this trip, as war with Iraq was greatly in the making and very few tourists were going to Israel at this dangerous time. I then just before leaving for Israel was surprised to see a perfectly heart shaped piece of soap or something in the bathroom stool. It looked like a piece of soap that got real thin and what remained was a very perfectly shaped heart. The heart was so very perfect and unique that I was thinking about showing it to my wife and children. Yet as I was looking at this unique heart in the stool to my surprise it suddenly went down the stool, and with very little disturbance and without flushing. Seeing this unique heart in the stool and seeing it go down the stool like this, and just before parting from my wife in this new way, added to my apprehension in leaving on this trip. I thought possibly I would never get back and the romance in our marriage and my life was going to be discarded and go down the drain just like this beautiful heart shaped soap. I never in my life had seen a perfectly heart shaped item in the stool as this, and the fact that this unusual thing happened at such an unusual time seemed more than just a coincidence to me. cP-19
Although when I got to Israel the people were very much preparing for the war, yet nothing happened and I did get back safely. I since being home from Israel have wondered if this little heart (symbol of romance) in the stool, does not portray how many people because of manmade sexual laws and restrictions simply are counting romance as dung and are urinating on it and flushing it down the stool. I also later wondered if this similitude at the time of separating from my wife such as I had never done before, might have meant that I in refusing solo orgasms on this trip as I had always done since about age 16, was needlessly denying myself of a particular aspect of sexuality that was lawful. Femininity, sexuality, and romance as within God's laws is as clean and wonderful as a beautiful heart made of soap, but the doctrines of devils have counted it filthy and unclean and placed it in the stool to be disregarded (1 Tim 4:1-3). cP-20
Although the following Scripture which encourages abundant sexual release, pertains to sex in marriage, it might also include the aspect of solo orgasms; cP-21
(Prov 5:15-20) "Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well. {16} Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets. [sexual release while traveling abroad?] {17} Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee. [yet not with a strange woman] {18} Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. {19} Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. {20} And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?" cP-22
Following is a Scripture which also could be speaking of solo orgasms as well as normal sexual intercourse, while if it actually is speaking of both forms of sexual release, it merely requires the same cleansing ritual to follow either sexual activity (to be ceremonially clean), rather than condemning solo orgasms in any way. cP-23
(Lev 15:16-18) "And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even. {17} And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even. {18} The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even." cP-24
Apostle Paul speaks very nicely about sexual things saying, "For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: {4} That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; {5} Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: {6} That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. {7} For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness." (1 Th 4:3-7). Note the word fornication as used in the Bible often pertains to any kind of sexual error. cP-25
Note how Apostle Paul here wants everyone to know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor and to refrain from sexual errors! Note how Paul then particularly connects erroneous sexual behaviour to that which goes beyond (excess) and defrauds our brother and then says we should not go beyond and defraud our brother with regards to anything. Note how Paul after speaking of everyone knowing how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor then says nothing about the particular sexual behaviour which is most relevant and accessible to man (solo orgasm) being erroneous. Paul in many Scriptures reproves many kinds of sexual sins but no where says anything about solo orgasms being unlawful and evil. Why is this? Would it not appear that Paul would reprove the sexual error which is the most available and is the most easily participated in, rather than say nothing about it and speak only about other particular sex sins? It does not appear our good God would condemn and damn us needy humans, whom He loved so much that He gave His only Son to die in our place for doing something He never particularly revealed to us as being unlawful. Various Scriptures closely relate sexual errors with covetousness, indicating that a desire for sexual excess and sexual mates beyond God's plan is the root error in sexual errors and fornication (1 Cor 5:10-11, Eph 5:3&5, Col 3:5, 2 Pet 2:14, Rom 7:7). cP-26
Concerning solo orgasms how did Jacob live those seven years while so greatly in love with Rachel? His love and romantic passions for her were so intense that those seven years seemed like a few days (Gen 29:20-21). It is true he during those seven years never had intercourse with Rachel, yet did Jacob never participate in solo orgasms in those years? Note, if Jacob had no way of releasing his sexual pressures during those seven years of intense and romantic love, those seven years of labor might have seemed very long rather than as only a few days. Note, nothing is wrong or sinful that is not against God's laws. Sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). How did Judge Samson, who had significant trouble keeping a wife, and who even for a time lived with a harlot (and without losing the Spirit of God), relate to solo orgasms? cP-27
When David and his men with him were hungry and requested of the Priest to eat the Holy shew bread, the Priest answered, "...if the young men have kept themselves at least from women. And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women have been kept from us about these three days..." (1 Sam 21:4-5). How did these men relate to solo orgasms in those three days? cP-28
When the Children of Israel crossed Jordan to enter the promised land, the wives and children of 2 1/2 tribes remained on the east side of Jordan. This separation between the husbands and their wives might have lasted for several years, as it continued until the Jews had subdued the land of Canaan. How did these husbands relate to solo orgasms in these several years and until they could return to the east side of Jordan to their wives and families (Josh 1:12-16)? How did those husbands who Solomon required to work in the forest of Lebanon and who were separated from their wives normally 30 days at a time relate to solo orgasms (1 Kings 5:13-14)? Concerning those wives in polygamous times who shared their husband with many co-wives, were they strictly disallowed orgasm release accept through their husband, whom they might rarely have had access to. How about Solomon's many wives? That which is not in conflict with God's laws cannot be classified as sin. cP-29
Solo orgasms can be participated in with basically three different types of thoughts or conditions of the heart. One might participate in a solo orgasm with evil thoughts such as while coveting and hoping to somehow seduce a particular woman that he cannot lawfully have, and while even imagining having sex with her. Jesus clearly disallowed such solo orgasms (Matt 5:28-32). Secondly one could participate in a solo orgasm while only remembering and pondering the natural beautiful countenance and body that God has given to woman in general, while yet in no way actually giving himself over to a willingness to participate in any particular unlawful sexual relation or imagining himself engaging in such. Thirdly one can participate in solo orgasms without any particular sexual thoughts at all, but simply in a way as to relieve himself of sexual pressures. Obviously in solo orgasms one must refrain from imagining evil or perverted sexual behavior as a means of creating sexual excitement. cP-31
Clearly solo orgasms can be done excessively or in wrong manners. God through an unusual event clearly showed His presence and likely disapproval of the writers particular sexual behaviour. In this happening while I was quite young, and at the height of the act of a solo orgasm, the window blind which was covering the window suddenly flew clear to the top of the window to my great surprise and lack of privacy. Although one might dismiss this as a chance happening or a lying sign and wonder, the writer can very readily believe God particularly done this as a witness of His all seeing eyes and warning against my particular sexual behaviour. cP-32
If one is careless and ignorant about God and His good laws and gives himself over to selfishness and excesses in solo orgasms, it is very possible for his sexual desires to become perverted and unnatural. One in solo orgasms should not allow his own sexual parts and sexual gender to become his object of ravishment, as it could lead to homosexual desires. It appears it would be much better for one in participating a solo orgasm to be inspired by thoughts of the blessing of the opposite sex, than to be stimulated by seeing himself or his own sexual kind. Homo sexuality can very much begin by people learning to relate their own sexual kind to sexual excitement rather than the opposite sex. One should also remember that if one's sexual pressures are strong enough that they really need released, they likely could be released without any particular thought stimulation at all, but only by physical stimulation. cP-33
Apostle John said "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. {16} For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." (1 John 2:15-16). Although some might quickly and mostly relate these verses to man's sexual desires, yet John here was not saying that man's natural desire for sexual sights and feelings is not of the Father but of the world, because the Father created them in the beginning and said it was very good, while many Scriptures indicate sex to be a good and blessed thing from the Father. Yet it is very true that this Scripture could pertain to perverted, excessive, and unlawful sexual desires. cP-34
God's laws, including His sexual laws, are good laws, which we actually can appreciate (Psa 119)! They are simply intended to prevent people from infringing on one another, and to prevent excess and hurtful addictions. Apostle Paul said "All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any." (1 Cor 6:12). According to this verse we should relate to sexual things, not only in ways that are within our power, but in the way that is expedient, and the way that prevents our desires from gaining rule over us. God wants His creation of sex to enrich us but not to dominate us. God's sex laws are firstly to prevent man from infringing on other peoples rights and secondly are to prevent man from hurting himself, while man must also relate to sexual things in a way that does not hinder his love and allegiance to God (Matt 22:36-40, Mark 12:28-31, Gal 5:14, Rom 13:8-10, James 2:8). cP-35
Although God's laws are good, yet the commandments of men are inflictive and withhold the blessings God designed for man to enjoy. The commandments of men have not only wrongfully defrauded man of sexual blessings but of many other blessings as well. The ascetic Christian doctrines of the early centuries largely disallowed anything that man might enjoy in this life. People who are taken up with manmade laws, often subconsciously feel this difficult denial is a means of getting access into heaven, while they neither understand the goodness of God nor have a proper thankfulness towards Him. Christians like this are similar to a little child who is painstakingly carrying a heavy bag of what he thinks is gold on a journey thinking it will get him into bliss at the journey's end. Yet when the little child got to his journey's end he discovered the gold was merely fake gold and was as worthless as filthy rags. Note, the Bible says our own or manmade righteousness is as filthy rags! The little child also found out that many things he thought he had to deny himself of to get to heaven, God actually created for him to enjoy and to be thankful for. cP-36
This article will now consider several Scriptures which might be understood to disallow solo orgasms. Some Christians likely feel 1 Cor 7:3-5 reveals the married should always refrain from solo orgasms (the writer himself at one time interpreted this Scripture as such). This Scripture reads, "Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. {4} The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. {5} Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency." (1 Cor 7:3-5). In considering this Scripture one should notice how it is particularly teaching that husbands and wives must kindly endeavor to satisfy one another sexually and must unreservedly give themselves to provide their mate with sexual satisfaction. Sexual satisfaction clearly is very important. One should remember how Paul spoke of our uncomely parts having more abundant comliness and said we give the more abundant honor to our uncomely parts. Although this Scripture does say that mates do not have power over their own bodies, it is very possible this Scripture really is saying that mates do not have power or right to withhold their sexual services or capacities from their mates rather than saying a mate does not have power or right to singularly create their own orgasm in appropriate situations. Yet husbands and wives obviously dare not allow solo orgasms to distract from their love and care for each other, but must fulfill each other's sexual desires. cP-37
It appears some Christians believe that 1 Cor 6:9 which uses the term “abusers of themselves with mankind” is speaking about and rejecting solo orgasms. Such Scripture reads, "...neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind". Although the term "abusers of themselves with mankind" clearly could sound like solo sexual activity, yet Paul made another quote very similar to this term which clearly is not speaking of solo sexual activity. Paul in 1 Tim 1:10 instead of using the term "...abusers of themselves with mankind" uses the term "...them that defile themselves with mankind...". Note the one verse reads “abusers of themselves with mankind” and the other verse reads “them that defile themselves with mankind”. These verses to some extent seem to be speaking of some improper sexual relations with mankind rather than speaking of solo sexual activity. The terms "abusers of themselves with mankind" and "defile themselves with mankind" as in the above verses, are translated as perverts, sodomites, and homosexuals in the NIV and NRSV Bibles. Twelve different English translations which the writer consulted (beside the KJV), all translate these verses as pertaining to homo or same sex activity rather than solo orgasms. cP-38
Although the original Hebrew and Greek languages likely had no particular word to define solo orgasms, such as the English word masturbation, yet Bible writers still very much could have clearly defined and disallowed solo orgasms had they intended to do so. According to common Biblical phrases about sexual sins, some typical Bible phrases which could be given to define and disallow solo orgasms could be, "thou shalt not commit whoredom with thine own body", "thou shalt not touch thine own secrets", "thou shalt not suffer thine hand to commit whoredom with thine own secrets", "committers of fornication with themselves", committers of uncleanness with themselves", "thou shalt not lie with thine hand as with womankind", and many more similar phrases likely could be given. Although solo orgasms obviously are a form of sexual behaviour that is most available and common to mankind, yet for some reason the Bible does not give any such phrases to disallow them. cP-39
Some Christians also feel that the Bible story about Onan being slain because of going into his deceased brother's wife and then spilling the seed on the ground, reveals that solo orgasms are evil. Yet one must consider that Onan had sex with his brother's wife and then at the end of the special relation rebelled against raising up seed to his brother which was the very reason and only reason he was allowed to have sex with his deceased brother's wife. (Gen 38:8-9). Just because Onan spilled his seed in a very improper situation and manner, and thus was punished for it, does not mean spilling or wasting seed is evil in itself. Note, calculations show that one man's sperm (which has so many sperm cells) and which sperm the body continually generates, if divided out could keep all women on earth having children annually. Clearly God does not intend for all of man's seed to be utilized and none go to waste! cP-40
Apostle Paul spoke of one who commits fornication sinning against his own body, giving the thought that sexual errors are harmful to one's own person and body. It is clear that sexual errors and excesses often are particularly harmful to one's own body. Yet it appears appropriate sexual release even as in solo orgasms often is a real blessing to the body and makes one feel satisfied, at peace with one's body and God's whole wonderful creation. It can help one have a joyous and courageous outlook on life. Strong unfulfilled sexual desires are very painful and can cause one to feel torn apart in the body that God gave him. It is quite the opposite of Paul's teaching concerning giving more honor to our uncomely parts that their should be no schism in the body. cP-41
One might say if solo orgasms are lawful, why does the Bible then so often and strongly reprove lust and advocate controlling ourselves and bodies. One must consider that even if discrete solo orgasms are lawful, their still is very much room and need to advocate temperance and self control, as uncontrolled and excessive sexual desires can do tremendous evil and damage. Many grievous crimes are based on improper and uncontrolled sexual desires. cP-42
One might say that solo orgasms don't satisfy but will simply lead people onto further sexual desires and activity. Yet if one through strong teaching and strong self discipline has power to refrain from solo orgasms altogether, could he not so much the more through strong teaching and strong self discipline have power to refrain from unlawful or harmful sexual activity if he has the vital sexual release of solo orgasms? Satan likes to advertise the boundaries of God's plan for man as being so restrictive that to remain within them is almost impossible, and then he likes to tell people you have already stepped outside of God's boundaries so you might as well continue on and do anything. Note, if one because of religious emphasis has carefully tried to avoid solo orgasms, but yet has failed in his endeavors and thus yielded to and succumbed to feelings of guilt and defeat, it is very possible that he in discouragement and carelessness will take on any unlawful and harmful sexual activity. Yet if one has the vital release of solo orgasm combined with a free conscience and thankfulness to God, why would he go on to unlawful and harmful sex? Apostle Paul said "unto the pure all things pure" (Titus 1:15), and while this Scripture obviously can be misused, it yet does have a vital place in many situations. One should again consider how the Bible so often and clearly reproves many sexual sins and then does not particularly reprove solo orgasms, and which are the most available sexual behavior to man. cP-43
Many realize it is erroneous that the Catholic Church does not allow it's elders to marry, and rightly believe such restriction often results in unfulfilled sexual desires exploding in wrong manners. Yet many who believe as such still deprive their children, in the years from puberty to marriage, of all sexual release and think it need not and should not explode in wrong manners. Is it proper for parents to freely enjoy regular sex, while yet expecting their children to have no means of sexual release at all, and with no particular Scriptures advocating this? Note, although solo orgasms can nicely release sexual pressures, it appears it is also possible for some people by total sexual restraint to enter a particular sexual dormancy where sexual desires have a minimal affect on them, and which condition also can be a blessing. Yet if all children are expected to be able to live in that sexual dormancy, what is wrong with expecting the Catholic Priests to also live in that dormancy? cP-44
Feelings of guilt by no means are a trustworthy guide for our sex lives. The writer after getting married was quite troubled by needless restrictions and guilt about sexual things. Although the writer was encouraged to not encumber his wife with pregnancy right away after getting married, yet after marriage I was troubled with guilt in using contraceptives as advised. It sometimes was said that our church was becoming too liberal and I thought this might be a part of that being too liberal. After being married, I further thought the only proper and allowable way to experience sexual release was through normal sexual contact. This issue also caused me great difficulty as being with my new wife often aroused me sexually, while yet such contact often did not suit or appeal to her. So I simply bore the difficulty of strong and yet unfulfilled sexual desires which was very difficult at times. Although orgasms would readily have occurred through simply embracing my wife, yet I couldn't allow that. Although I could have attained orgasm in many ways, and been thrilled with God's wondrous gift of sex, I instead too often was in sexual pain. Why all this difficulty and why all this guilt with regards to something that is to bless and encourage man and make him feel strong and ready to face the world with courage and joy and like a strong man ready to run a race (Psa 19:5-6)?! These things clearly show the great difficulty which can be caused by needless guilt and sexual ignorance, and clearly show guilt is not necessarily a true teacher. Just because one might feel guilty about their sexual behaviour by no means proves that it is wrong, as such guilt can very readily be caused by any broadly accepted and deep rooted anti sex tradition which tradition might yet be erroneous. Two of the world's largest religions are wrongly opposed to God's gift of sex. Catholic Christendom and much of the Moslem religion is wrongly anti sex, and which involves a large portion of our whole world. Yet Paul spoke of the erroneous anti sexual emphasis that has gripped our world as the doctrine of devils! God alone knows the pain it has caused our world! cP-45
It is a obvious and vital fact that normally it times takes much more effort and skill for a female to attain orgasm than a male. Yet God very much intends females to also enjoy orgasm, and any negative teaching or tradition about sex that makes it difficult for the newly married daughter to reach orgasm should be avoided, while rather daughters very much should be taught in a manner that will enable them to fully enjoy sex and orgasm with their husbands when that time comes! The fact that God has made it more difficult for women to reach orgasm than men, indicates that God intends significant effort, time, and skill to be put into sexual things. Some women enter marriage, with great ignorance about sexual things, and with little interest therein, and even a feeling that sex is shameful and second rate. Such wives often cannot reach orgasms, do not enjoy sex, and do not love her husband in a physical and sexual manner at all like they should. How much better for both the wife and her husband if she had learned to experience and appreciate God's gift of sexual orgasm, even if through solo orgasms, and then after marriage is able to sexually and passionately love her husband, and enjoy sex in it's fullness. Note, God seen fit to create woman in way that solo orgasms by no means need to take away her virginity. Note, although massagers obviously can help females reach orgasm, yet God intended wives to reach orgasm for thousands of years before massagers were ever invented, and wives really should be sexually inclined and skilled enough to reach orgasm without massagers and it is wonderful if they are. Yet the massager method is better than no orgasm. cP-46
Some Christians might claim they are opposed to sexual self pleasuring of any kind. Yet technically speaking, self pleasuring is doing anything that creates pleasing sensations to your own genitals. Even during intercourse the mere act of moving one's body in a manner that creates pleasing sensations to their own genitals is self pleasuring. Although self pleasuring can be done by moving the body in intercourse, it can be done most efficiently and effectually with one's hands in massaging the genitals. If it is lawful for mates to move their awkward and clumsy bodies to pleasure themselves in sexual enjoyment with their mates, why should it be thought unlawful for mates to use their more efficient and versatile hands to do so or to help along? God gave us humans both intelligence and hands and quite obviously we need not be as awkward and clumsy about sexual things as are dumb and handless animals. cP-47
Although Satan's false anti sex laws have caused humanity untold and unthinkable difficulty and pain, yet the answer to all man's sexual problems still by no means is simply saying "if it feels good do it". A child that always gets what it wants is not a happy child. It appears one's sexual desires if not disciplined can become like having a case of poison ivy, which although feeling real good while you itch it, is still not a blessing. May God help us to find the sexual balance that He designed for each of our lives. Jesus came that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly (John 10:10). The abundant life that Jesus came to give is not found in laws of self affliction, nor is it found in doing every thing we on the spur of the moment might want to do. This life is found in being at peace with our Creator, having good will toward all men, and enjoying the blessings God has created for us to enjoy. Abundant life often is found in trying to bless others. cP-48
In conclusion the writer invites the reader to read the article entitled "God and Religion, What's it all About" posted at www.TeachMeGod.com as it extensively considers the basics and blessings of true religion. May the reader be aware that the writer by no means, is encouraging one to go against his conscience in sexual matters, but rather would want to help people have a proper conscience. May God help us to rightly understand sexual matters, and may God's sexual creation bless our lives as God intended rather than be a pain and a snare to us. God bless and farewell. cP-49
